PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact type fiber heat treatment device whose heat capacity can be reduced to save the electric power consumption of the device and which can reduce the radiation loss of heat during the operation of the device and facilitate the maintenance and exchange of guide rollers. SOLUTION: A bar-shape heat-generating resistor is used as a heat-generating source, and guide roller-attached heat reflection plates are disposed on both the sides of the heat-generating resistor. Thereby, heat capacity can be reduced, and heat energy can be effectively supplied to a fiber. A right or left slidable upper lid is slid in the direction to open a route for placing the fiber in the route and immediately slid to close the route, thus thermally treating the fiber. Thereby, the radiation loss of the heat can remarkably be reduced. The guide roller-attached heat reflection plates in which the fibers can travel can be pulled out without disassembling the heat treatment device. Thereby, the maintenance of the guide rollers can largely be simplified.
