PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counterbalance type forklift capable of improving the radiating efficiency of electrical equipment. SOLUTION: This counterbalance type forklift has a counterweight 5 at the rear part of a car body 4, and electrical equipment 7 is stored in a storing chamber 6 formed on the counterweight 5. The inner bottom face 6a of the storing chamber 6 is formed as a curved surface, and the electrical equipment 7 is closely fixed to the inner bottom face 6a of the storing chamber 6 through a plate-like heat sink 7a.
