<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost stainless steel container having a superior sealing characteristic at a joint, an appropriate connecting strength capable of performing a rapid connecting operation, and having a small-sized and light weight unit by forming a flange segment having an appropriate width. SOLUTION: There is provided a stainless steel container 1 constituted of a plurality of container members 10, 20 having flanges 11, 12 at its outer circumference by forming a stainless steel plate, wherein these flanges 11, 12 are overlapped and connected to each other. Connecting of the flanges 11, 12 is mainly carried out by a laser welding, and then a high strength segment 31 of a part of an entire length of each of the flanges 11, 12 and requiring a high connecting strength is connected by a resistance welding. In addition, the high strength segment 31 in the flanges 11, 12 is formed wider than other segment 32.</p> |
