PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate visible and/or tactile discontinuities in a mammalian skin texture (including discontinuities associated with an aged skin), especially a skin pore size. SOLUTION: A topical composition for regulating the skin pore size comprising 2-5% of niacinamide or the topical composition for regulating the skin pore size further comprising 0.01-2% of a retinoid compound selected from the group composed of retinol, retinyl palmitate, retinyl acetate, retinyl propionate, retinal and mixture thereof is provided.
