PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which exhibits good flame retardancy and maintains good overall balance among physical properties under hydrolysis conditions. SOLUTION: The resin composition contains one or more aromatic polycarbonate resins, a flame retardant comprising an organophosphorus compound in an amount sufficient to give flame retardancy, and a polyimide compound in an amount sufficient to give flame retardancy.
