PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor realizing improvement of compression efficiency. SOLUTION: This scroll compressor comprises a fixed scroll having a spiral wall body stood on one side surface of an end plate, and a turning scroll 13 that has a spiral wall body 13b stood on one side surface of an end plate 13a, is prevented from rotating by fitting of the wall bodies to each other, and is supported revolvably. The height H of the wall body 13b outside a step part 43 disposed on the scroll end plate 13a along the curl of the wall body 13b and the step height L of the step part 43 satisfy the relation L/H<=0.2.
