PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a hung body such as a lens barrel kept in a vertical attitude by operating pinching bodies to pinch its lower part between them when a laser marker is carried or housed in a case, to allow the hung body to freely rock by horizontally opening out the pinching bodies in marking work, and to intelligibly display the state of the hung body and to inhibit marking work while it is fixed. SOLUTION: This laser marker 1 is equipped with the pair of pinching bodies 57 and 58 capable of horizontally moving to pinch the lens barrel 15 as the hung body of the laser marker 1 and an actuation plate 50 as an actuation member provided in a horizontally slidable manner on a rotary table 8 to actuate the pair of pinching bodies 57 and 58 to open or close. With an operation part 50a of the actuation plate 50 projecting laterally of the rotary table 8 and one end of a spring 56 being engaged with the actuation plate 50, the pinching bodies 57 and 58 are opened or closed with a biasing force of the spring 56. A limit switch 60 is provided as a detection means for detecting the sliding position of the actuation plate 50.
