The invention relates to a silk-worm breed (Bombyx mori L) called RG-90, intended to the field of sericiculture. The silk-worm breed called RG-90 was obtained by the selection and crossing by the modification of the genetic structure of the population, by excluding the genotypically and phenotypically inadequate individuals from the reproduction and by restructuring the genotypes in the descending generation and by increasing the share of heterogenized genotypes; it is a synthetic worm breed having yellow cocoon and zebra-like larvas. The breed is characterized by the following parameters: the weight of the raw cocoon of 2.133 g, shell weight of 0.436 g, silk covering 20.50 %, weight of the dry cocoon of 0.945 g, fibre length 1194 m, fibre weight of 0.365 g, fibre thickness 2.75 d, fibre metric count 3278 m/g, spinnable silk 38.64 %, raw silk 17.11 %, spinning percentage 83.71 %.
