PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dramatically increase an efficiency for bringing a fluid to be treated into contact with a photo-catalyst and to improve treating efficiency. SOLUTION: In a photocatalyst filter prepared by filling a photocatalyst carrier 3 carrying the photocatalyst excited by exciting rays in a storing casing provided with an inlet 2a for the fluid to be treated on one end side and an outlet 2b on the other end side, as the photocatalyst carrier 3, a hollow sphere 9 which consists of a permeable material for the exciting rays and on the wall face of which a plurality of perforations 9a, 9a,... are formed and on the inner face and the outer face of which photocatalyst layers 10 and 11 are respectively formed is used. |
