The invention relates to a razor with compact blades allowing the rapid mounting of the blades, meant for shaving and cutting the hair, and to a blade therefor. The razor comprises a handle (1) provided with a shaving head (2) forming an angle alpha with the shaving head handle, said head having some projections (3) wherein there are provided some grooves (a) receiving and sustaining some shaving blades (4) sharpened on both their long sides (5), said blades being fixed in the grooves (a), by being pushed from the outside.
