The invention relates to a hanging laundry dryer employed in domestic activities. According to the invention, the dryer comprises an H-shaped frame (1) provided with some equally spaced strings (2) between its sides, the frame (1) hanging from a ceiling (3) by means of two strings, namely one string (4) secured to one side of the frame (1) and passing over a single-pulley (6) and a double-pulley (7) and another string (5) secured to the other side of the frame (1) passing over a double-pulley (7) respectively, both strings (4 and 5) being joined by means of some spaced knots (a, b) fixed on a wall (9) by a hook (8).
