PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel tracheal tube used in tracheoplasty. SOLUTION: The tracheal tube has a sealing cuff 2 which is expanded by an expansion tube 20 extended into the channel 21 along one side surface of a main tube. A suction tube 26 extends into a channel 27 along the opposite side of the main tube and further extends to the upper end of the sealing cuff 2 to be opened to the cavity 29 provided to the outside of the main tube through the side surface opening turned at right angles with respect to the radial direction of the main tube. The civity 29 extends in the peripheral direction at about 90 deg. toward the curved surface of the outside of the main tube and a secretion accumulated in this region can be removed by the cavity 29. |
