PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly change an attitude of a processing cassette 5 when changing the processing cassette 5 installed to a swing arm 40 of a sewing machine body. SOLUTION: In this processing device, a fitting groove 86a formed near a corner part of the processing cassette 5 is fitted on a pin shaft 42a sideways projectingly provided in a tip part of the swing arm 40 pivotally supported on the surface side of a front plate 19. The tip of an engagement member 44a turnably provided in the swing arm 40 is engaged with an engagement part on the rear end side of the processing cassette 5 to hold an attitude, while the engagement is released by an operation member 44b pivotally supported to the front plate 19. In a cassette detachment attitude-imparting means 160, a pair of left and right attitude imparting bodies 161, 162 of synthetic resin are relatively turnably fitted on a tip part of the pin shaft 42a such that a support pin 161c of the left attitude imparting body 161 abuts on a longitudinal side face of the processing cassette 5 and that a support pin 162c of the right attitude imparting body 162 abuts on the lower side face of the processing cassette 5. A torsion spring 163 energizes both the support pins 161c, 162c such that an interval between the support pins 161c, 162c is reduced.
