PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new kitchen counter usable from both sides of a kitchen, a dining room, and a living room, and excellent in functionality and facility. SOLUTION: This kitchen counter has a kitchen side counter body 1 and a dining room side counter body 2 mutually arranged in a step shape. A cooking appliance 3 is arranged kitchen side counter body 1 on the lower stage. A screen 4 is arranged in the rear of the cooking appliance 3 for partitioning the dining room side counter body 2 and the cooking appliance 3.
