<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching unit capable of improving the productivity by surely pulling out a punch from a work, preventing the impairing of the accuracy in punching even on an easily-expandable work, and preventing the rising of residues. SOLUTION: A stripper plate 6 positioned closely to a work W corresponding to a thickness of the work W, pulls out the punch P from the work W in rising without pressing the work W, and the punching driving force of an electric motor 4 is transmitted to a movable die 5 holding the punch P. A means 10 opened and closed by an electric signal is mounted on an air passage R part in a machine frame 1, and the responsivity of the air injection can be improved, and the pressure loss in air flow can be minimized by shortening an air passage R' between the air injection part and the means 10, whereby the jet air can be surely applied to punched-out chip (residue) attached to the punch P at a bottom dead center to eliminate the chips from the punch P.</p> |
