PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article holding tool in which the holding operation of a roll body is simple and support is also stable, change work when used as a small article container unit or used with assembling a roll holding tool is also simple, a support arm or the like does not break in a transport process and it is unnecessary to attach an arm when used. SOLUTION: A roll holding tool 60 has a base 70 in a flat plate form having a surface area equal to the base area of a small article container 10, a slide plate having approximately the same width as its depth and attached in a slidable way in the right and left directions of the base, a side plate 81 integrally formed on this, and a support arm 90 which is rotatably attached and supports a roll body R and is removably attached to the small article container by the fact that the base is engaged with the bottom of the small article container and is slid in front and rear directions. A reinforcing rod 100 which is an expandable rod connecting the side plates each other and whose minimum length is approximately equal to the minimum distance between the side plates is provided.
