<p>The invention relates to a method for carrying out the post-passivation of a phosphatized metal surface. The inventive method is characterized in that the phosphatized metal surface is treated with an aqueous post-passivation solution containing nickel ions provided in an amount of 50 to 500 mg/l and phosphate ions provided in an amount of 200 to 1500 mg/l. Accumulating rinsing water containing constituents of the post-passivation solution can be treated using nanofiltration or reverse osmosis, whereby the retentate is transferred to the phosphatizing bath, thus completing the Ni cycle. In addition, the post-passivation solution preferably contains a phosphatizing accelerator.</p> |
