<p>In a user interface 5 between a person and a machine/computer 1, the machine is represented by keys 2a arranged on a terminal. The machine is also represented by a graphic representation which can be actuated depending on the actions of the user 6 on the keys. A model of a system 4 comprising the interface is simulated, and the simulation comprises frequency and sequence analysis. In a frequency analyser 12, the number of actuations of the keys is recorded, and, in a sequence analyser 13, the sequence in which the keys are actuated during a given period of time is recorded. The result of said analysis functions forms the basis of indications as to whether the positioning of the keys is correct. Likewise, answers can be obtained with regard to whether the design of the menus and the positioning of the menus in the graphic representation are optimum in the case in question. <IMAGE></p> |
