PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an anisotropic sintered magnet having a large residual magnetic flux density, with an improved yield in a large block, particularly, not less than 30 cm3 in volume. SOLUTION: The die for a sintered magnet is characterized by the formation of s notch 14 each in the center of both sides in the direction orthogonal to the orientation magnetic field of the die body 11, which is made of a metallic material having 500-12,000 gauss saturation magnetization 4πIs, and which is formed in a hollow block having a cavity 12.
