PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester that has a simple structure and can smoothly exhaust their stems and leaves. SOLUTION: In this root crop harvester that is equipped with an inclined conveyer 10 that puts the stems and leaves y of the root crops between a couple of rotary belts 11, 11 and conveys the root crops from the front end part near the ground surface upward on the back side and with a cutter mechanism 20 for cutting the stems and leaves of the root crops on the way of conveying by the inclined conveyer and the cut stems and leaves y are exhausted from the rear ends of the inclined conveyer 10. A stems and leaves exhaustion guide roller 32 is set almost horizontally under the rear end of the inclined conveyer 10, resultantly the exhaustion guide roller 32 comes into contact with the stems and leaves y exhausted from the rear end of the inclined conveyer 10 at the outer peripheral surface driven rotating downward whereby the cut stems and leaves y is guided downward.
