PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making ultrathin cut blade that has high discharge property of ground chips and high cooling efficiency of a cut surface and allows improvement of persistence of sharpness and surface roughness of the cut surface. SOLUTION: In a disk-like ultrathin cut blade 1 made of a single layer or multi-layer grain layer 2, a plurality of recessed parts 5 for clearance grooves extending from the outer peripheral edge in the central direction are formed circumferentially at a predetermined interval in at least the outer peripheral regions of both surfaces.
