SOLUTION: In this plate material carrying-in device 1 for moving and carrying-in the plate material to a desired place by sucking the surfaces of the long plate materials 2 laterally arranged in parallel along the longitudinal direction L by suction pads 3, correcting devices 4 abutting on the plate material 2 from the width direction W orthogonal to the longitudinal direction L of the plate material 2 for simultaneously holding the plate materials 2 from the width direction W, are mounted on the surfaces of the plate materials 2.
