PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer constituted so that a part of the oil strainer is damaged when an oil pan is deformed by a shock or the like to keep oil sucking function. SOLUTION: The oil strainer 10 is arranged in the oil pan 20 and has the suction port 51 facing to the bottom of the oil pan 20. A fragile part 52, which is pushed by the protruded bottom of the oil pan 20 to be damaged when the bottom of the oil pan 20 is protruded, is formed at the suction port 51.
