PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook and loop fastener of stretch fabric which mixes a hooked engagement element and a looped engagement element of synthetic fiber, and has longitudinal elasticity. SOLUTION: Elastic fiber is used at least as part of the warp constituting a foundation of the hook and loop fastener, so that the hook and loop fastener has an elasticity of 5 to 30% under a longitudinal load of 5 kgf.
