The invention relates to an endless conveyor belt employed in manufacturing mining rubber carpets, in vulcanization plants as well as in equipping the belt conveyors transporting bulk materials. According to the invention, the endless conveyor belt comprises an envelope (3) made of ethylene propylene diene monomer-type plastic material forming both the active surface and the running surface of the conveyor belt, a warp (1) being provided inside said envelope (3), said warp being made up of a single continuous flexible strand, wound as a loop, and being woven with a weft (2) consisting of several strips of steel sheet.
