PURPOSE: A metal dome switch assembly in a keypad of a communication device is provided to prevent the permeation of moisture by locating a ventilation portion between metal dome switches. CONSTITUTION: A metal dome switch(1) and a board paper(5) adhere to a lower surface of a film(2) at a certain interval by an adhesion paste layer(3). An adhesion paste layer(4) is formed under the board paper(5) for sticking the board paper(5) to a PCB(6). The board paper(5) between the metal dome switch(1) of a vertical direction and a metal dome switch(1') adjacent with the metal dome switch(1) is removed. An air ventilation portion(7') is installed between the metal dome switches(1,1') so that the metal dome switches(1,1') are ventilated each other.
