PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sheet-like material not affecting a reinforcing element by modifying an arbitrary depth portion in a thickness direction of an unvulcanized rubber sheet. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a sheet like material includes a process of vulcanizing an unvulcanized rubber sheet obtained by coating a reinforcing element with an unvulcanized rubber composition by irradiating an ion beam.
