PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a water permeable sheet used for conveying or dehydrating a slurry by alleviating a wear of the sheet in the case of flow-on papermaking a fiber-reinforced cement plate and to enhance maintainability of a suction zone. SOLUTION: A method for cleaning the rear surface of the water permeable sheet in the flow-on papermaking of the fiber-reinforced cement plate comprises step of providing a cleaning means (11) at a rear surface side of the sheet (2) between a leveling zone (6) and the suction zone (7), and cleaning the rear surface of the sheet.
