PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for continuous casting with which a gas sealing performance at the connecting part between an immersion nozzle and another nozzle, is improved, ingress of air into molten steel stream is prevented, and consequently high grade steel can be obtained. SOLUTION: In the nozzle for continuously casting the molten steel having the connecting part between the immersion nozzle and the other nozzle, an annular gap part is concentrically disposed with a nozzle hole so as to communicate from the upper end to a socket on the way. The gas sealing performance at the connecting part is improved by blowing inert gas from the outer periphery of the connecting part of the gap part formed at the upper end of the immersion nozzle.
