PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system for molding sand blowing type molding machine in which the frequency of maintenance such as replacement or repair of parts caused by wear can be reduced, by restraining the wear of each portion of an exhaust valve and an exhaust pipe in the exhaust system. SOLUTION: The exhaust system for molding sand blowing type molding machine is provided with a blow-tank having a sand charging hole at the upper end part thereof and a sand blow-out hole at the lower end part thereof and storing the molding sand, an air supply mechanism communicated with a compressed air source through a stop calve by communicatively connecting with a side part of the blow-tank and an exhaust mechanism communicated with atmosphere through the exhaust valve by communicatively connecting with a side part of the blow-tank. A wear resistant material liner is coated on the inner surface of an exhaust passage in the exhaust valve and also, two or more pieces of diaphragms for opening/closing the exhaust passage are arranged stacked in the exhaust valve.
