PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably remove dust from high temperature exhaust gas of incineration facilities. SOLUTION: A plurality of box-shaped filter units 10, etc., are provided side by side in a gas flow passage 11 through which gas flows from above to below so as to form rows almost in the gas flow direction and each of the filter units 10 is equipped with a gas introducing port 10h opened upwardly, a chute part becoming narrow toward the downstream side provided at the lower part thereof and a filter medium having a pair of opposed plate-shaped filter surfaces having apertures not permitting dust to be collected to pass. The lower end of the chute part of each of the filter units 10, etc., communicates with a common discharge passage 13 and the gas enters each of the filter units to pass through the filter surfaces thereof.
