METHOD OF CATALYTIC REACTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of catalytic reaction that does not cause a shading in a concentration of air bubbles flowing into a charging bed in the catalytic reaction method comprising steps of introducing a gas and a liquid from the lower part into a reaction zone in which a catalyst charging bed is retained in a liquid phase, allowing the resulting gas-liquid mixed phase flow in which air bubbles is finely dispersed to pass through the catalyst charging bed and discharging the liquid containing the gas and the reaction product from the upper part of the reaction zone. SOLUTION: The method of catalytic reaction regulates the flow to longitudinal direction of the gas-liquid mixed phase flow at the neighborhood of the lower surface of the charging bed by arranging a flow regulating board protruding downwardly from the lower surface of the bed at the lower part of the charging bed.
