PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of an operation lever in a lock releasing device of a reclining mechanism of a vehicle seat. SOLUTION: A seat back 12 of the seat 10 is turnably installed on a floor panel of a car body via a reclining mechanism 13. An operation lever 20 is installed in an upper part of the seat back 12, and is connected to a lock releasing lever 19 of the reclining mechanism 13 by a control cable 21. At this time, a T-shaped pin 32 of the lock releasing lever 19 is inserted into an oblong hole of a terminal device 30 of the control cable 21. The lock releasing lever 19 is turned via the control cable 21 by the operation lever 20, a lock of the reclining mechanism 13 is released, and the seat back 12 is tilted. Since the operation lever 20 returns to an original position when the terminal device 30 and the T-shaped pin 32 move along the oblong hole, the operation lever is not damaged even if a cargo collides therewith.
