<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head having a stable shape of a face angle or the like by optimizing the location of the gravity center of the golf club head. SOLUTION: This golf club head 1 is equipped with a head main body 2 of a hollow shell shape, and a cylindrical body 5 which is inserted in an opening 3 on the upper surface section 2a of the head main body 2 and an opening 4 of a sole section 2b from the top, and welded. A section which protrudes upward from the opening 3 of the upper surface section 2a of this cylindrical body 5 is a hosel section H. A protruding section 6 of the cylindrical body 5 is superposed with the flat surface of the upper surface of the flange section 3a of the opening 3, and is welded. The lower end of the cylindrical body 5 is formed into a thicker section 8.</p> |
