PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling device that is easily attachable to and detachable from a working machine and can improve productivity, and a handling method. SOLUTION: The handling device attached to the working machine comprises an actuator 1 driven by fluid supply from a fluid source 4, and a controlling means 2 for controlling the operation of the actuator 1. An on/off operation of fluid supply to the controlling means 2 operates the controlling means 2 to control the operation of the actuator 1.
