PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically enable focusing on a designated object. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an image pickup element 9 that outputs an image signal, an optical system 1 converging from an object on the image pickup element 9, a focal adjustment device 8 that adjusts a focal position of the optical system 1, a monitor 20 that displays an image photographed by at least the image pickup element 9, area setting circuits 26, 27 to set an object image of which area on a screen of the monitor 20 is focused on the image pickup element 9, a drive circuit 17 that drives the focus adjustment device 8 so as to focus the object image in the area set by the area setting circuits onto the image pickup element 9, a transmission circuit 16 that sends data including the image signal photographed by the image pickup element 9 by a radio signal, and a reception circuit 16 that receives the data from the other device by a radio signal. |
