PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an optional line desired by a user (e.g. an upper one, one at a central part, etc.), within the visual field of an image sensor and to process a fetched signal by fetching the signal of at least one designated line among digital signals stored in a signal storing means. SOLUTION: After image storage processing (S1), whether a mode (operation setting) is normal 'reading' or 'waveform output' is decided (S10). In this mode setting here, an operation is set by a SW attached to the main body of a two-dimensional code reader. When the mode is the 'waveform output', the data of a designated line is fetched (S11). The fetched data is made a waveform and processed so as to be shown on a display such as a CRT display and liquid crystal display (S12). Thus, the magnitude (luminance) of an electric signal obtained by performing light transformation of the designated line by an image sensor is made a waveform and can be shown accurately on a display, etc. |
