PURPOSE: To provide a sewage treating device which can detect the absence of the connection of a relay connector. CONSTITUTION: This sewage treating device 1 is provided with an electrolytic cell 4, an electrode unit 5, a constant current power supply part 15, a control panel 6 and a repeater. The constant current power supply part 15 supplies electric currents for constant current electrolysis to the electrode of the electrode unit 5. The control panel 6 is arranged on the outside of the sewage treating device 1, is connected to the power source part 15 and controls the electrolysis. A repeater 9 is disposed between the control panel 6 and the electrode unit 5, and has a plurality of relay connectors 18 for connecting them. When any relay connector 18 is not connected, the load resistance of the electrode unit 5 becomes infinite, and an output voltage larger than a set voltage determined by a previously-set load resistance is outputted. This output voltage is compared with the set voltage by a voltage detecting part, and an alarm lamp 17 turns on.
