PURPOSE:To allow the reproduction of an intoned, natural voice and easy hearing of number information by reproducing odd-figured numbers in a rising intonation and even-figured and last-figured numbers in a falling intonation. CONSTITUTION:Reproduction instructing information given by a host computer 8 is stored in a memory 4 so that number information to be reproduced may be read from the memory 4 when the number is judged to be reproduced by a main control section 2. The first figure of the number information is read, and if the last figure is to be reproduced, voice data stored in a falling intonation is read out of a voice memory section 5 and reproduced in a voice processing section 6. The voice data stored in a rising intonation, if the number to be reproduced is not at the last figure but at an odd figure, and in a falling intonation, if it is at an even figure, respectively is read out of the voice memory section 5 and reproduced in a voice processing section 6. |
