production of tubes with helical corrugations. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes carriage; housing mounted on carriage and fixed against axial motion; clamping members and their drive unit. Apparatus is provided with rotary kinematic pair whose first link is coupled with clamping members and joined with housing for forming translatory kinematic pair. Second link of rotary kinematic pair is coupled with drive unit of clamping members and it may perform reciprocation motion relative to carriage supporting drive unit of clamping members. Carriage is joined with housing that may rotate relative to axis of apparatus. Rotary kinematic pair is mounted in such a way that its rotation axis coincides with rotation axis of apparatus. Thrust rolling bearings provide limitation of mutual motions of links of rotary kinematic pair along axis of apparatus and they provide axial fixation of housing relative to carriage. Housing may perform rotation relative to carriage due to their joining through rolling bearings. Units of apparatus are mounted in such a way that they restrict inner through zone around axis of apparatus with size of cross section of said zone exceeding outer diameter of made tube. EFFECT: manufacture of tubes with helical corrugations whose length exceeds that of working stroke of carriage of drawing bench. 9 cl, 4 dwg
