PURPOSE:To provide a wet image forming device provided with a cleaning device in which cleaning performance is improved, and also the deterioration of a cleaning member is reduced, and which does not deteriorate a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:Conductive liquid whose resistivity is at least <1X10<1> 3OMEGAcm is used as cleaning liquid 21 supplied to a part where a foam roller 115 is made to press-contact with the surface of a photosensitive drum 1 and a part where a cleaning blade 116 is made to abut on the surface of the photosensitive drum 1 in the cleaning device 11; and the cleaning liquid 21 supplied on the photosensitive drum 1 is connected to an earth through a squeezing roller 117. Or, developer is used as the cleaning liquid, and a specified positive voltage is impressed on the core bar part 115b of the foam roller 115. Or, a conductive cleaning roller 121 on which the specified voltage is impressed is provided on the upstream side of the foam roller 115. |
