DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD FOR ROTARY ENCODER

PURPOSE:To provide a data transmission method for a rotary encoder for which the utilizing efficiency of data is improved and the control of transmission/ reception is facilitated by a few data signal lines. CONSTITUTION:Four gathered pieces of absolute data composed of 6 bits constitute one data frame (24 bits) and UVW phase data (1 bit of each phase) composed of 3 bits constitute one data frame. Then, data columns are constituted so that the absolute data FA1 of 1 frame and the UVW phase data of 3 frames appear alternately and are serially transmitted to a control side.
