ENGINE LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM OF WATERCRAFT EQUIPPED WITH WATER-JET PROPELLER

shipbuilding; engine liquid cooling systems of watercraft, such as boats equipped with water-jet propellers. SUBSTANCE: proposed systems has pipe lines, heat exchanger and thermostat. Heat exchanger is made in form of cylinder with inner and outer shells provided with partition mounted between intake and exhaust branch pipe which are secured on outer shell. Heat exchanger performs function of component of flow section of water-jet propeller; heat exchanger is secured by means of flanges. Inner shell of heat exchanger is mounted flush with inner lines of surface of water flow passage. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cooling system; enhanced efficiency of maintenance of stable thermal conditions of engine under varying operating conditions; low cost of equipment. 2 cl, 3 dwg
