SUBSTANCE: process of low-temperature preparation of bitumen includes preliminary heating of bitumen, its dehydration and pumping into working boiler. Bitumen heated to 105-110 C is dehydrated by passing through superhigh-frequency plant, is poured into working boiler where its temperature is kept constant in limits of 105-110 C. Only mass of bitumen required to fill up bitumen weighing batcher of asphalt- bitumen mixing plant is heated to working temperature of 140-150 C in local heater positioned in bitumen mass of working boiler. EFFECT: preservation of quality of bitumen, reduced energy consumption.
