SUBSTANCE: invention deals with a mixture for chocolate drink, particularly, mixture for a hot chocolate drink containing natural chocolate or a substance used in confectionery products. Mixture for drink contains, at least 40 wt.% in terms of total weight of mixture, pieces of chocolate or a substance used in confectionery products, together with powder-like cacao or powder-like cream. Thickness of said pieces is from 0.25 to 0.75 mm, their length, from 0.1 to 2 cm, and their width is from 0.1 to 1 cm. Pieces of chocolate or a substance used in confectionery products may have a form of lattices or chips, or offcuts or crumbles, and are milk, dark or semisweet chocolate. Method for mixture preparation for drink (version 1) involves mixing of chocolate pieces and a substance used in confectionery products having thickness from 0.25 to 0.75 mm, length from 0.1 to 2 cm, and width from 0.1 to 1 cm with powder-like cacao or powder-like cream in mixer. Crushers or chippers may be used for crushing. The second version of drink preparation involves mixing of mixture with hot liquid together with powder-like cacao or powder-like cream. Mixture for drink contains, at least 40 wt.% from total weight of mixture, pieces of chocolate or a substance used in confectionery products having thickness, length and width the same as indicated in version 1. According to the third version, pieces of chocolate or a substance used in confectionery products are used in mixture where cold liquid is added. Then ingredients are mixed with powder-like cream and cacao, and heated in a microwave oven. EFFECT: improved quality of prepared chocolate drink. 10 cl
