PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing assembly type furniture is provided to help a worker to easily manufacture furniture, to facilitate the manufacturing work of the furniture, and to enable the mass production of the furniture. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing assembly type furniture is comprised of the steps for attaching a film to the one side surface of a plate having a desired size; spreading the plate into a furniture shape that front and rear surfaces thereof are opened; cutting a V-shaped groove along the boundary of the spread plate; and bending the plate along the V-shaped groove and finally coupling corresponding edges of the plate.
