A hair-removal apparatus comprising a case (5) which houses an electric motor (4) that drives a razor head (1) comprising at least one tweezing device and a device designed to reduce the pain (10) felt during hair removal. Said device is positioned next to the razor head (1) and comprises at least one pin (12a, 12b, 12c, 12'a, 12'b, 12'c) which protrudes in relation to the plane of the skin. More specifically, according to the invention, said pin (12a, 12b, 12c, 12'a, 12'b, 12'c) rotates around an axis that is more or less perpendicular to the plane of the skin while the tip of the pin massages the skin by rubbing with a predefined amplitude.
