PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold and machine a bearing face having an inclined dynamic pressure groove precisely by simple facility and small number of man-hours and ensure proper oil circulation between the inside of a bearing body and a bearing clearance to suppress the deterioration of oil in the bearing clearance and improve service life of a bearing. SOLUTION: A sintered metallic raw material 1' is pressed in a die 20 and is pressed against a lower punch 23 to pressurize it from the vertical direction. The sintered metallic raw material 1' receives a pressing force from the die 20 and upper and lower punches 22, 23 and causes the deformation, and an inner peripheral face is pressurized into a mold 21a of a core rod 21. Consequently, a shape of the mold 21a is transferred on the inner peripheral face of the sintered metallic raw material 1' to mold the bearing face 1b.
