PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balcony construction capable of fully withstanding the greatest wind pressure expected while suppressing the number of work days and construction cost by reinforcing the joints of a blind wall even though a blind wall is made of components jointed side by side. SOLUTION: In a balcony 4 provided with a blind wall 2 shielding one's eyes or the like from the outside, at the balcony components 6 and 8 with end faces butted and jointed straight, I-type steel reinforcing plate 10 is fixed as a reinforcing member in such a manner that the plate 10 straddles top surfaces or bottom surfaces being flush. Also, at the side surface of the flush joint portions of the balcony components 6 and 8, a steel gusset plate 18 is fixed.
