PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device recognizing a defective lens hardly detected by a conventional optical method with high reliability, in an ophthalmic lens, especially a contact lens. SOLUTION: This inspection device includes an ultrasonic processor 2 having a sound pole 4 and a hold vessel 6 open upward. One or more contact lenses 5 can be put in the hold vessel 6, the hold vessel 6 is filled with a test liquid, the sound pole 4 can be immersed in the hold vessel 6, and the contact lenses 5 put in the hold vessel 6 are processed by an ultrasonic wave.
